Light Source Options
Our Large Harness X12 Festoon Systems are available with a range of light sources to suit different applications. Choose from high-efficiency Orbical, Carnival or ECO LED modules for modern, energy-saving performance, or classic Xenon lamps for a traditional warm glow. We also have a Retrofit option which allows easy upgrades from existing Lumisphere X24 xenon festoons to LED without needing to change the existing harness.

Orbical LED
The Lumisphere® Orbical LED range delivers the classic look of traditional bulbs with the efficiency and reliability of modern LED technology.
Using multiple high-performance SMD LEDs, each module produces a rich, uniform 360° light output—perfect for creating warm, inviting lighting displays with real visual impact. Available in 1W and 2W options, the Orbical range provides flexibility to suit both subtle ambient schemes and higher-impact installations.
Designed with convenience in mind, the Orbical LED is a true plug-and-play solution, allowing for quick and effortless retrofitting into any existing Lumisphere® X12 installation—no hassle, no complexity.

Carnival LED
The Lumisphere® Carnival LED range is a versatile, energy-efficient lighting solution designed to deliver bright, consistent illumination with minimal power consumption.
Each plug-in module incorporates four high-brightness 5mm LEDs mounted on a conformal-coated PCB, producing a soft, wide-angle light distribution. Operating at just 0.6W per unit, the Carnival range offers a more subtle effect compared to the higher-output Orbical range (1W and 2W), making it ideal for applications where a more delicate lighting aesthetic is preferred.
Fully dimmable and compatible with both AC and DC systems, the Carnival range provides excellent flexibility across a wide range of installations. The plug-in connector design ensures quick, straightforward installation and easy maintenance.
ECO LED
The Lumisphere® ECO LED range is a compact, ultra-efficient lighting solution designed for subtle decorative applications.
Each plug-in module features two high-brightness 5mm LEDs mounted on a gold-plated, heavy-duty PCB, delivering a soft, wide-angle light distribution with extremely low power consumption. Operating at just 0.2W per unit, the ECO range is ideal for creating gentle ambient effects where a more understated finish is preferred.
Perfect for decorative schemes, the ECO LED offers an efficient way to add refined, atmospheric lighting to any installation.
Xenon X24
The Lumisphere® X24 Low Voltage System is a traditional lighting solution utilising 24V xenon gas-filled lamps, delivering a warm, consistent light output.
Available in 5W, 8.5W, and 10W options, the system produces a classic 2700K colour temperature, closely replicating the familiar appearance of incandescent lighting. With a typical lamp life of up to 20,000 hours, it remains suitable for installations where a conventional light source is preferred.
The lamps are designed for multi-position operation and offer good resistance to vibration, ensuring dependable performance across a range of environments.
While LED technology is now the preferred solution for most applications, the X24 system continues to provide a proven, traditional alternative where required.
X24 LED Retrofit Module
The Lumisphere® Retrofit LED modules provide a simple and effective upgrade solution for existing Large Harness X24 festoon systems.
Designed as a direct replacement, these plug-in LED modules allow for a seamless transition from traditional lamps to modern LED technology—without the need to replace existing transformers or infrastructure.
Offering improved energy efficiency, reduced maintenance, and long-lasting performance, the Retrofit range is an ideal way to modernise existing installations while retaining the original system layout.

Globe Options
Our globes are IK 10 rated and designed for quick and easy replacement - simply pull off the existing globe and push on the new one, with the integrated O-rings maintaining a secure, weatherproof seal.
Choose between two shapes: , a smooth spherical design, or , the classic bulb shape. Both are available in a range of colours including: Clear, Frosted, White (G Type only), Red, Green, Blue, Purple, Amber, and Pink.

Low Voltage Safety Isolating Lighting Transformer
The Lumisphere® range of patented, weatherproof low voltage transformers has been specifically designed for use with the Lumisphere® festoon system.
Manufactured to a high standard, these transformers incorporate a range of unique design features, making them suitable for multi-light applications. Their construction ensures reliable performance even in demanding environmental conditions.
All Lumisphere® transformers are independently tested in accordance with IEC/EN 61558-2-6:2009, providing confidence in safety, quality, and long-term performance.

Constant Voltage Driver Units

Dimming Systems
Lumisphere® festoon systems can be dimmed using a range of compatible control options, offering flexibility to suit different project requirements:
1-10V LED Drivers
Supplied either fully enclosed in weatherproof housings or in skeleton form, with optional rotary dimmer control.
Triac (Leading Edge) LED Drivers
Suitable for internal use. Compatible dimmers to be supplied by others.
Phase Control (PFC) Dimmers
Suitable for use with Lumisphere® toroidal transformers. Dimmers supplied by others.
DALI Control
Utilising Lumisphere® electronic LED drivers, available in weatherproof enclosures or skeleton form. DALI control equipment supplied by others.

Self Assembly
Lumisphere's Large Harness and Small Harness festoon systems can be purchased in component form, if required, for self-assembly. In instances where irregular distances between light units are required, or on-site assembly of materials is required, e.g. signage, ceilings, fascias etc, this may preferable. On-site self-assembly tools can also be purchased - please ask the team for more details .
